Hello, I'm sure most of you know me, so I won't introduce myself. Because this isn't about me, and it isn't about you, it's about us and the way we are being ignored by the very organization and it's leaders that our taxes go to support. The "Share the Road" idea is not complicated. We don't want signs up every quarter mile. All we are asking is for a fair shake. If you can erect signs for bicycles, cows, ducks, horses, and peacocks, then you can do the same for bikers. We need everyone's help in getting this done. They are so entrenched in their thinking that this
cannot be accomplished by one club or group. It will take all of us working together to be successful. We need your help in getting it done. If we get enough of a momentum going they will have to listen. Thanks for all you've done and will do. -Gary DuPriest

I am not a Texan but I wanted to let you know that your website is very helpful and inspirational. I am an individual (not affiliated with an MRO) who has been searching for a way to contribute to the effort of educating drivers. Your efforts and your site show that you don't have to be part of
a large organization to make a difference.. I am adopting a personal safety program called "The Power of One" referring to the fact that each of us have the power to contribute to the campaign for motorcycle awareness.

we know of 117 signs installed in Texas (so far)...
On this page we will continue to add all info & pics we receive for STR signs installed
across Texas. We will also maintain a list of cities that have approved installation of STR signs but have no available funding for signs at this time. We hope this info will help more riders to be involved in doing a presentation at their City Council meeting to add more cities to the list that support motorcycle awareness within their community.
