This Proclamations campaign is the combined participation of ALL Texas riders ... you will see below many pics of those who put this Proclamation to good use in their community as an opportunity to increase
driver awareness in 122 cities & 10 counties across Texas in 2008.
Texas riders thank the Mayors & our Governor for their support...
Proclamations 2008
Texas riders make headlines each year by attending City Council meetings
& getting newspaper coverage that will reach drivers in their community with one message ....
save a life, please watch for motorcycles
we also thank our County Judges & Commissioner Courts
4-1-08 It was with great pleasure that T.M.R.A. accepted a signed copy of the Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Proclamation from our Governor Rick Perry. This is the third year that Governor Perry has signed the proclamation and we hope it leads the way for local city and county governments to follow suit. Butterfly has worked hard to organize various clubs and organizations toward obtaining proclamations around the state. Please join in the effort to get as many proclamations signed as we can. Every step towards increasing awareness of motorcycle safety in our great state of Texas is a step toward saving any one of our lives. So please do everything you can to help ... it very well could be your life you are helping to save.
