2004 Proclamation signed by Governor Rick Perry

This year our federal government officially recognized May as National Motorcycle Safety & Awareness Month,
thanks to the efforts of retiring U.S. Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell of Colorado. Campbell, an avid rider and longtime
advocate of motorcycling causes, introduced Senate Resolution 168 which was passed by unanimous consent of the
U.S. Senate on April 28th, 2004  resolution & news release from MRF - Motorcycle Riders Foundation

This year riders put this proclamation to good use in their community as an opportunity
to increase driver awareness in 32 cities across Texas.

we want to thank Governor Perry & our Mayors for their support...

Good work Texas bikers ! See ya'l next year...    -Butterfly, founder of Ride Safe In Texas
